Easy to see scheduling availability online anytime,, and the layout is well-designed for the customer to have the feeling of being in their own "corner," even though it's an arc of the football floor plan. Hairstylist was able to translate my plain speak into her cosmetology language, and delivered a clean, cut which was exactly what I requested.

I got my hair cut and the lady cutting my hair was pretty much criticizing my haircut the whole time and wanted to do what she wanted to do. She rushed through the haircut and not to mention she left me alone at the chair atleast 5 times for phone calls . Her name was Shannon and my fade was not blended at all and she was more concerned with playing around talking to other people than keeping her attention on my hair. She didn?t even ask how I liked it and got mad when I said I did not need the mvp wash and through the product on the front counter to ring it up without asking me. I like this location and the other girls are always very attentive to me but the manager is always a nervous wreck and I?m never sitting in her chair again. My coworkers started going to the other location because they felt pressured to wash their hair and buy products . My son is in college and he spent over 70 $? bc he was scared of her? in his own words. If you tell her a bald fade she usually will do a number one so it isn?t even what I want and I have never heard of a rule you have to wash your hair to get a bald fade. I use to love this location but something has to change in management . I am a very loyal customer and if I will be back it will be to see the other stylist . Thankyou

I?ve lived in Lafayette for a year, moved from Austin, TX. Not being familiar with the area I went with a chain. The first 2 visits were great. After that I guess there was new management and staff. On my first occasion I arrived 45min before closing, and what I learned was the manager, literally said ?Were not taking anymore clients.? It was dismissive and I found suspect, it being 45 min before they closed. Cool, whatever. I attempted to once again get my haircut on Tuesday, around 2pm. The manager, the same one who ushered me away at my last attempt to get a haircut, was just finishing with a customer with 2 small kids. She tells me she will be with me in a moment, and proceeds to leave the salon, come back with food, and about 15 min later I see her sweeping and cleaning up around the Salon. She definitely didn?t want to cut my hair, on 2 different occasions. And that?s all good Bc I definitely don?t want someone prejudiced or bigoted to cut my hair either. Also none of the staff was masked up. And I highly doubt they?re vaccinated. I ended up going to a salon in the same shopping center. Located in the front of Great Clips in a white building. Much cleaner, more professional. I walked in, was greeted, didn?t have to wait, and she happily cut my hair. I don?t understand why Great Clips staff and the manager didn?t want to cut my hair, but I have some ideas and they definitely have to do with my racial make up. I?m Hispanic. I guess we all can?t be from a trailer in Acadiana and thank gawd I?m not. Take your money and business elsewhere if you?re a person of color. We?re definitely not welcome here and they shouldn?t get our money anyways.
