I was in your Lafayette location on sunday with my God child, we are. Not from the area. The haircut was good, but some of the employees were , well let me just say I thought I was at a high school dance. and when I say they, I dont mean all, specifically one young man and one young lady with red hair, from what I can remember. It felt very uncomfortable by the way they were interacting with one another and another gentleman that was there expressed to me that he felt very uncomfortable as well. One young lady was laying on the floor and I was just not like any other sportclips I have been to. My advice would be to get rid of the high school kids and get some more mature stylist in there. I would not recommend this sportclips, that is until that problem is solved.

Walked in and signed in. Within one minute, the screen showed that my wait time would be 18 minutes. I was second in line and there were four stylists working. Waited 34 minutes and was upgraded to "on deck". Then the nightmare started. I waited an additional 22 minutes while only 1 of the 4 stylists were working. Then I got my hair cut and it took 12 minutes from the time I sat in the chair until I drove out of the parking lot. I haver had over 500 haircuts in my life and this is probably the worst haircut and definitely the worst experience. For $20 I could have gotten a GOOD haircut in 1/4 the time.

I am not sure how SportClips at this location (Lafayette, LA/Ambassador) could receive a low rating, my experience here was GREAT! (January 2018) New crew, new management, new stylists! With rising costs at most barbershops in the area, I wanted to try a new place to bring my 3 year old son too, and SportClips met my expectations. Not only did our stylist take her time with my toddler, she interacted with him and completed his haircut just the way I described it to her. No matter the sex, no matter the race, the shop was filled with all nationalities and each stylist was able to cut any type of hair from what I could see. I will definitely be going back for my son and for myself! The environment was a pleasant one, and having sports on the big screen TV In the waiting area was a plus! My son did not shed one tear, and who could blame him with all the beautiful stylists working there! Shout out to SportClips for a job well done! They are even open on Sundays!
